Soccer
250 million people can’t be wrong.
That is the estimated number of people that play soccer each year, and you can learn the fundamentals of the world’s most-popular sport through instructional sessions and league play at the YMCA! Y soccer programs focus on building a solid fundamental base to develop both individual and team skills. Our programs use player-development assets provided by Rush Wisconsin Soccer Club, allowing Y athletes to benefit from advanced resources they may not otherwise be able to access.

Recreational Leagues
We teach 4-10 year-olds the fundamentals of soccer at the team level while emphasizing teamwork and fun! The program consists of two weeks of practice followed by five weeks of game play. Volunteer coaches are needed.

7-10 year olds at East and West may combine for league play, depending on enrollment.
Practices/games on the West side will be held at Huegel Park. Other games may be played at the East YMCA.
